Finding the Best Bolton Real Estate Agent
No They're NOT ALL ALIKE!

You Need to be Able to Spot the Difference

Finding the best Bolton real estate professional requires some research.  There a lot of imposters out there that are just waiting to rip money out of your pockets.  Read on.

We're the biggest and the best!
Never fall for that line.  Salespeople sell homes - not companies.  Buyers don't care who has the listing.

Never select an agent based on price.
Some Bolton real estate agents may try to "buy your listing" by quoting an over-inflated price just to get the listing then keep coming back for price reductions later.

Never select an agent based on commission.
The highest commission rate does not mean a more successful sale or a better quality agent.  Effective marketing & market exposure is the real key to selling real estate.

Look for experience in the marketplace.
Real estate is a high turn-over business and plagued with part-timeres.  Look for a FULL TIME salesperson.  The price will be virtually the same but the outcome of eventual problems can be quite different.

I have an assistant! Or I have a team!
Some Realtors® like to protray their importance by having an assistant when the amount of their business does not warrant it.  Some realty trainers sell coaching programs that mentor the agents into thinking that way.

Beware the 0% commission!
There are lots of companies out there that sell kits designed to help sellers sell their own home.  They are in the business of selling kits, not helping home owners.  You can get yourself into a lot of legal trouble by not using the proper forms, clauses and disclosures.

Most importantly - BEWARE OF AGGREGATORS!
There are a lot of companies out there that want to help you find the best agent.  You need to run away - FAST!  These companies do not have your best interest in mind but, in fact, sell leads or demand high referral fees from starving agents who would jump at the chance for your listing.  These very agents have to give up their marketing dollars to these aggregators.  Who pays?  You do in the way of higher commission and lack of marketing exposure.
